Celebrations At The Château - Jo Thomas

Today is my stop on the blog tour for 'Celebrations At The Château' by Jo Thomas, I absolutely love Jo Thomas's books and jumped at the chance to take part in this blog tour. The ultimate heartwarming, uplifting book had arrived. This is the very definition of a hug in a book!  Fliss and her two sisters, Lizzie and Nellie are off to France, they've inherited a house from their late grandfather...the house is not what they expect at all. Its magnificent. But little do they know that their inheritance has come with a twist, will they be able to find a solution to keep their newly gifted house. I always look forward to a new novel by Jo Thomas especially around this time of year, there is nothing better than being able to curl up in a blanket, with a hot chocolate, and read in absolute peace and quiet. Beyond The Veil - Mark Morris

So today is my stop on the blog tour for 'Beyond The Veil' edited by Mark Morris and what a spooktacular read you're in for! The perfect book for this season. A superb collection of 20 gory, creepy and utterly eerie short stories. I absolutely love short stories and there is nothing better than being able to cosy up with a hot chocolate on a dark night and just get stuck into them. After reading this collection I will definitely be on the hunt for other edited collections by Mark Morris.  So if you're looking for some fantastic short stories suitable for the spooky season then this is the book you need, there is a stories for all horror fans in there! The Restoration - J.H Moncrieff

Today is my stop on the blog tour for 'The Restoration' by J.H. Moncrieff andet me tell you this was a creepy unputdownable read you won't want to miss. Inspired by her own stay in a haunted house... Terri is hired to restore an old Manor house,  she moves in with her daughter when things start to go horribly wrong...truths will be uncovered...a spine-tingling, creepy read that keeps you engrossed from start to finish, once you have been drawn in you'll find it very hard to put down until the very end. A perfect read for this time of year 👻 highly original and am easy read with plenty of twists and turns. I will definitely be on the look out for more by J.H Moncrieff. 5*

Faithless - Hunter Shea

Today is my stop on the blog tour for 'Faithless' by Hunter Shea, I can't believe this is the first book I have read by Hunter, I can definitely say it won't be the last. Little does Raul know his drive home is going to rip his life apart forever in one of the worst ways imaginable. When a phone call home to his wife couldn't be more terrifying as he is left helplessly listening to the brutal murders of his family... This novel pulled me in straight from the start, it was fast paced, gripping an absolute page turner, I couldn't turn the pages fast enough! I will definitely be looking into other books by Hunter Shea. 

The Nightmare Tree - Paul O'Neill

So today is my spot on the blog tour for 'The Nightmare Tree' by Paul O'Neill and if you're looking for a creepy read that will make you double check everywhere before bed, then this debut short stories is the book for you. With 13 creepy, frightening and hair-raising  short stories your definitely going to be in for a treat this Halloween. Perfect for fans of Stephen King. I love short stories especially this time it the year and Paul O'Neill has written a collection that will now go to my pile of must reads for this time of year, a collection definitely to be read and re-read for many years to come. Game Of Life - Philip Parrish

So today is my stop on the blog tour for 'Game of Life' by Philip Parrish. I really enjoyed this book, it hooked me from start to finish. What a superb debut, a highly original psychological thriller that you just want to keep on reading.  The Porlocks gather for the final time at their home, that is soon to be demolished well most of them...when old memories come to haunt Elizabeth of her daughter who went missing eleven years ago...Will the Porlocks ever be the same again? Shadow Pursuit - Alistair Birch

So today is my stop on the blog tour for 'Shadow Pursuit' by Alaisdair Birch and what an action packed debut novel this was. A thrilling and unputdownable read, i was on the edge of my seat reading this. I thought it was extremely well written and a very clever storyline with plenty of action. MI5 have handpicked Eva to help in a possible people trafficking case, exciting as it is, she finds herself very quickly in a sticky situation. Kellie and Sam both have sibling that they can't track...what will happen?.....Can secrets stay buried? .... This is a must read book, and I do hope the start of a series. The Promise - Emma Heatherington

So today is my day on the blog tour for 'The Promise' by Emma Heatherington and what an emotional read, it will have you in full on sobs by the end so be sure to have your tissues ready!  If you're looking for a book that you can just curl up and get lost in then this is the book for you, a heartwarming, wintery love story that stay with you a long time after you have finished.  Kate and David's paths cross once again after 10 years have passed since their teenage years. One More Christmas At The Castle - Trisha Ashley

Today is my stop on the blog tour for 'One More Christmas At The Castle' by Trisha Ashley and what an uplifting novel this one is. I absolutely adored Trisha Ashleys books especially around this time of year they always give me a warm glow inside. So I jumped at the chance to take part in this blog tour! Sabine is an elderly widow and with christmas fast approaching she thinks this may be her last and is determined to make this Christmas the best and make it just like her childhood Christmas's. She employs Dido from Heavenly Houseparties to help with the big day. Will the day go as planned?  Trisha has the ability to really pull any reader into her books, the way each and every book is written is so enchanting and makes you not want the story to end! Always In December - Emily Stone

So today is my stop on the blog tour for 'Always In December' by Emily Stone and wow what a book, this is the book you will need in your life this winter, this book will take you on a roller coaster of emotion a roller coaster i wasn't prepared for! Having just broke up with her cheating boyfriend Josie literally falls into Max, little does she know Max would be the one. For Josie as its starting too look alot like Christmas its also looking like this Christmas will be an unforgettable one...is it possible shes falling in love? With an ending i wasn't prepared for at all, this book made me feel veery emotion, one moment I was laughing, it made me feel warm and cosy, it also made me cry my eyes out!  This winter this is the only book you're going to need in your life, make yourself comfortable, grab a glass of wine, stock up on chocolate and pop a box of tissues next to you (you're seriously going to need them!) And prepare to go on one hell of a rollercoaster. I
