The Little Dreams Of Lara Cliffe - Milly Johnson

What a delightful, quick read. I absolutely adore quick reads, they are perfect if you are struggling to decide what you're next read will be but also they're fab for discovering new authors which is what I mainly read them for!  This is the first book by Milly Johnson I have read and it certainly won't be the last. Lara and her best friends, Vicky, Pip and Jo are off to Amsterdam for Laras hen party...she's finally met 'The One' but could all this change when a blast from the past turns up out of the blue? Is Lara having doubts about her wedding? Has fate brought her and the man she once loved back together? Or has she realised something different altogether? An unputdownable quick read, funny, heartwarming and charming.

I Follow You - Peter James

What an absolute page turner of a book, I really didn't want to put this book down for a moment, any spare minute I had I just had to pick it back up again. A superb psychological thriller.  Marcus Valentine is a top surgeon on Jersey, everyone knows him and everyone rates him, he's very good at his job and is well like by his colleagues. Soon Marcus' life begins to slowly spiral out of control again when he meets Georgies and becomes obsessed with her, he truly believes this is the woman for him and will stop at nothing to try and win her, even if it means causing her the most grief she would ever come across in her life. A story of lies, obsession, guilt, secrets and taunt. I highly recommend this read, if you're a fan of his Roy Grace series then you will love this book! I cannot wait for the next book from Peter!

The Split - Laura Kay

Oh what a heart-warming read. I just didn't want to put this book down, a laugh out loud, light hearted read that you will not want to part with!  Allys relationship is over, her girlfriend Emily has just split up with her and now thinks she should leave their boat. As Ally gathers her things together she decides that she will take Malcolm...their beloved cat (which was Emily's Birthday present!!!) With her back to Sheffield to her dads house. If she wants him back she will have to come and get him back!!! Heartbroken and in denial that their relationship is over Ally starts sending Emily emails updating her on her life and checking of she is still seeing Sara (with no h)!! Jeremy, Allys childhood bestfriend has also returned home after a bad break up with his boyfriend....the only thing he can think of to get his boyfriend back is by signing him and Ally up for a half marathon!! The voice messages sent between Jeremey and Ally are just comical! I absolutely adored this book!

So today it's my turn on 'The Last Wife' blog tour! What an absolutely gripping and compelling psychological thriller...one you don't want to miss out on! Nina is dying and asks her best friend Marie to look after her husband and children once she has gone, Marie's decided that she will finally get to have the life she always wanted, more importantly she will get to have Nina's life? But what secrets has everyone been hiding? Who is telling the truth? Full of obsession, deceit and drama...you should definitely be careful what you wish for!! Nothing is better than a nice twisty, suspenseful psychological thriller, especially one that grips you so you just want to read more and more. I can't wait to read more from Karen Hamilton.
