Image
Oh my gosh, I have just finished the most wonderful book! I started 'The Arctic Curry Club' very late last night, at 2am this morning I reluctantly put it down but as soon as I woke up this morning I picked it back up to finish! I really didn't want it to end! Make a date in your diary for publication date 9TH DECEMBER. you won't want to miss out! Maya packs up her life and heads to the Arctic with her boyfriend Ryan, little does she know this isn't quiet the adventure she is in for. With temperatures at -25, roaming Polar Bears and complete darkness Mayas anxiety kicks in real bad...but just how bad can things get?! After going back to her roots in India for her fathers wedding, Mayas childhood is slowly starting to piece together little by little... but what secrets will unravel? Was Mayas memories what she thought? Will her anxiety make or break her? Will Maya find the answers she needs? This is exactly the book I needed to read right now, especially with the cha

Hunt - Leona Deakin

Today is my stop on the blog tour for 'Hunt' by the phenomenal Leona Deakin. A killer thriller not to be missed. A fantastic addition to the Dr Bloom series, although this one is part of a series it can also be read perfectly well as standalone book. A clever, well plotted thriller from Leona. It was great to see Bloom and her partner Marcus Jameson back together again, having read the previous books its clear to see that whatever case they've been given psychopath seraphine isn't lurking too far behind! A killer thriller you don't want to miss out on. This book will keep you hooked from beginning to end. With the short chapters you'll be saying to yourself "just one more" then before you know it you have devoured the whole book. I can't wait to see what is in store next from Leona. Thank you Anne for hosting this blog tour with Random Things Tours and for letting me take part in another fab book tour!

Nerve Attack - S. Lee Manning

Image
Today is my stop on the blog tour for 'Nerve Attack' by the brilliant S. Lee Manning. A thriller that is not to be missed. Koyla Petrov,  a former U.S intelligence operative, finds himself drawn back into the world he thought he would never be back in again, until his best friend from childhood Dmitry needs his help...can he be trusted? Can Petrov put the past behind him to move forward in this case? An utterly suspenseful, unputdownable, edge of your seat thriller. I didn't want it to end! Although this is the first book i have read by S. Lee Manning, it definitely won't be the last. There is nothing better than picking up a book that is, fresh, original and manages to pull you in so much that you feel you're actually there! A definite 5* read from me! Thank you Anne Cater from the Random Things Tours for letting me take part! k

The Margins - John Wigglesworth

Image
So today is my stop on the blog tour for 'The Margins' by John Wigglesworth an extremely clever debut novel. I love a book that you find difficult to put down, so much that you end up reading in just a couple of sittings. I throughly enjoyed the dual timeline that ran through the book. Ethan Hicks is the sole survivor of a Himalayan mountain tragedy and this is his very detailed account of what happened.... A highly original, clever and extremely well written debut novel.  I will definitely be keeping my eye out for more by John Wigglesworth. Thank you to Anne Cater for letting me take part in this blog tour with the @RandomThingsTours.

The Family Man - Kimberley Chambers

Image
So today is my stop on the blog tour for Kimberley Chambers new novel 'The Family Man'. The Family Man is the start of a brand new series for Kimberley. What an explosive first instalment it is, as with every book I've read from Kimberly I found it very hard to put down. I love the way her writing just pulls you straight in as if you are actually there.  In this new series we meet The Bonds, hard Bond is Kenny, recently freed from doing a stretch inside after killing a policeman by accident, Kenny adores his family his wife Shal, his kids Donny and Sherry, his grandkids Beau and Brett, his mother and aunt Nell and will stop at nothing to protect them, especially when one is caused harm!! This is definitely a family you don't want to get on the wrong side of! This book of course also contains its fair share of "notrights"!! I definitely can't wait for the second in the series!! Hopefully it's not too far away!!! A must read for crime/gangland fiction re

Make Yourself At Home - Ciara Geraghty

Image
So today is my stop on the blog tour for 'Make Yourself At Home' by Ciara Geraghty. I seriously didn't want this book to end. I never wanted to put it down and when I was i was constantly thinking about what was coming next. It's such a moving story, beautifully written, emotional and raw. A story of a mother and daughter relationship with a touch of humour, but will also seriously make you think. When Marianne returns home, a place she hasn't been since she left at aged fifteen, she starts to discover the true meaning of "home is where the heart is." A thought provoking story of family, friendship, loyalty, trust, secret and betrayal. I will most definitely be on the lookout for the rest of Ciara's novels. Thank you Anne Cater for organising this blog tour through Random Things Tours and for letting me take part.

There is nothing better than sitting down to read a book especially one that keeps you guessing throughout, it was very engaging and with characters that you end up investing in. If you are looking for a book that is uplifting, moving and utterly absorbing with a beautifully written story of finding friendship then this is definitely the book for you. I cannot wait to read many more books that is to come from Denise Tyler. Definitely a 5* read from me.
