Always Remember Your Name - Andra and Tatiana Bucci

Image
Always Remember Your Name is raw, honest and powerful account of their time in Auschwitz as children and their story of survival. Sisters Andra and Tatiana Bucci tell their story of their childhood before being taken on that dreadful day, their most vivid memories of being held and their story of life after. This will be a story that I will never forget, the pure determination that shone through their mother to keep an eye on them when it should have been impossible, and their strength to keep going was just incredible. The silence of their story that came after their release to protect and respect their mother and others that had been through the most horrifying moments of their lives, and the amount of respect they had to each and every family that had asked if they had seen a relative was just commendable.

Daisy Jones And The Six - Taylor Jenkins Reid

What a read this was, this book will pull you in from the very first chapter, once I got my head around the way it was written, sort of like a script, I just didn't want to put it down. This eccentric read is a fictional account of the rise and fall of a band during the 70s, the lifestyle, the good, the bad and the very bad that comes with life as a rockstar. Billy was good at what he did, he knew exactly what he wanted and how to go about it, Daisy knew exactly how she wanted to perform, how she wanted to write and how to get her words across but there was something between the two that just didn't click until it did click. I just LOVED seeing their relationship grow. I read this as part of a buddy read with @buddyreadingbooknook - check them out!!

Innocence and Deception - Toni Bolton

Image
Today is my stop on the blog for 'Innocence and Deception' by the magnificent Toni Bolton. I couldn't put this book down, although this book is part of a series I thought it read really well ad a standalone too. A thrilling, fast paced read that will keep you turning the pages fast and faster to find the answers! Charlotte has been wrong accused of murder...or has she?! And FBI agent Mike Collins will stop at nothing to get to the truth. I thought the title of the book fitted the story perfectly! I loved the concept of it being a part crime/thriller read and part romance....I definitely want to pick the rest of the series up now and read from start to finish! Definitely a 5* read....its wonderfully refreshing to read something original! Thank you very much to Anne at Random Things Tours for organising another superb blog tour.

To Kiss You Again - Nicola Lowe

Today is my stop of the blog tour for 'To Kiss You Again' by the lovely Nicola Lowe, book 2 of The Missed Kiss Series. What a tear jerker of a book, I didn't want it to end. As this I'd book 2 and I hadn't previously read book 1, Nicola had kindly gifted me a copy if that book too. I must say I am TEAM LUKE!  This beautiful book will male you howl! This is perfect for anyone who is just wanting a real good read, I do recommend you start with the first book which is: The Missed Kiss as you will get to know the characters properly!! These books have stolen a piece of my heart! Thank you Anne at Random Things Tours for letting me take part in this blog Tour!

Ugly Love - Colleen Hoover

Image
Oh my goodness...so this book may have stolen a piece of my heart! I was completely enthralled from start to finish. The story that developed through Miles and Tates relationship was just heart warming and heart breaking at the same time... This book completely shattered my heart then slowly piece by piece it formed back. This book is so raw and emotional you can't help but become so absorbed in each characters story. Queen CoHo has definitely fast become one of my go to authors, although this is only my second one I have ordered all the rest! If you haven't read this yet, put down what you're doing, get comfy and read until you cry your eyes out!!

Blood Orange - Harriet Tyce

Image
I can't believe just how long this book has been on my TBR pile...years...and I really wish I had picked it up earlier! Alison has just been given her first murder case but as she becomes so consumer in proving her clients innocence, she is failing to see her own life slowly falling apart. Not only is she having an affair but alcohol seems to be a huge part of her life...or so her husband Carl is so early quick to point out and adds to her pressure by accusing her of putting her work before her family and doesn't hold back in telling her his exact thoughts. Blood Orange Is a superb debut psychological thriller that I can easily see being adapted to a TV Drama. I read this book as part of a buddy read through @buddyreadingbooknook (check them out!)

It Ends With Us - Colleen Hoover

Image
Oh my goodness what a read, I have had this book on my bookshelf for so long and I really don't know why I left it there for so long. I was so grateful when @buddyreadbooknook (check them out) decided to start a buddy read which was very popular! This was my first book by Colleen Hoover and it certainly won't be the last, just when I thought it was going to go one way it went the other! Just brilliant! This book is completely addictive, its powerful and it will break your heart. It also will make you think...it certainly made me think about alot, things like second chances and sticking to what we believe in. I absolutely praise Collen Hoover to the hugh heavens for writing this book, the bravery shown, the dignity maintained throughout and also for writing something that must have been so hard to write.

The Family - Naomi Krupitsky

Image
So today is my day on the blog tour for 'The Family' by Naomi Krupitsky and what a phenomenal read it is. I can't believe that this is a debut book, the writing is just so eloquent and flows so well. A faat paced coming of age story that I think will be such a huge book. I didn't want to put this one down, in the end I had the pace my reading so I could read a little each night! A story of two girls, Sofia and Antonia that have known each other since birth...what makes them Family is both of their dad's are part of the Mafia..... PLEASE READ THIS BOOK!!! Thank you very much to Anne for organising another brilliant book tour!
