Breakneck Point - T. Orr Munro

Image
Now this really was such an engrossing, intruiging and thrilling read. I couldn't turn the pages fast enough for this. Meet Ally Dymond a crime scene investigator, who will stop at absolutely NOTHING to get to the bottom of the truth....even if it means her career ending in Major Incidents, but could her career be over for good when she crosses too many boundaries and breaks too many protocols trying to bring the right person to justice? I really hope this is the start of a series featuring Ally Dymond. I can't wait to read more by T. Orr Munro. A superb debut that you won't want to miss out on..... #Follow TheEvidence Thank you to @harperinsider for sending me a proof copy.  ~PUBLISHED 14TH APRIL 2022~

The Gypsy Killer - Angela Dandy

So today is my stop on the blog tour for 'The Gypsy Killer' by Angela Dandy and what a gripping read. I love nothing more than a completely original read and this book has ticked all the boxes, very original i have never read a book that has kept me so completely engrossed but also completely unique. I couldn't turn the pages quick enough, the characters I became invested in. I found it very hard to review this book as when I started writing it I was wanting to spoil the whole book!!! This is the first book I have read by Angela Dandy I'll definitely be on the look out for any others and definitely what is to come!  Thank you to Anne from Random Things Tours for organising this blog tour and letting me take part! I have very much enjoyed reading such an original book so early into the year!

Claire keegan - Small Things Like These

A thought provoking novel, that is written so exquisitely. Set in a small Irish town in 1985. The main character Bill Furlong I became so invested in, his whole life especially his emotional journey, I won't forget it. At just over 100 pages, this novella will be one of the most powerful, courageous and beautiful books you will ever read. I will definitely be keeping my eye out for all future books from Claire Keegan and also having a look at her previous books.

The Echo Man - Sam Holland

Let me start off by saying that this is without a doubt my book of 2022! This is the book I've been waiting to read ever since I started reading crime fiction. Every single ingredient you need to make the perfect crime book is right here in this masterpiece, the way it was delivered and written was just outstandingly brilliant.  When I started reading it I really didn't want to put it down as it had me hooked, but as the pages were turning faster and faster I had to put it down and make this book last as long as I possibly could and then today I gave in a was sucked in and couldn't bare not to find out where it was going and THAT TWIST!! That TWIST I did not see! I'm praying that this is going to be the start of a series. The author Sam Holland has a real gift for writing crime fiction and I will most certainly be the first in line for anything else that is published!
