The Puppet Show - MW Craven

Image
Now this is what you call a thriller, i was hooked from start to finish, it started dark, it got darker, the twists were coming....I just didn't want it to end. Washington Poe and Tilly Bradshaw, just what a fantastic duo they were and hopefully will be?!  The immolation man is hunting and terrorising the Lake District so when poe has an unexpected visitor whilst on suspension, he knew it was an offer he couldn't refuse...but what does the Immolation man want with Poe?  What a cracking boom from start to finish I cannot wait to start book 2. I read The Puppet Show as a buddy read with the fabulous @fiction_book_reviews so feel free to check out her review on Instagram too!

One True Loves - Taylor Jenkis Reid

So, I'm still currently working my way through Taylor Jenkis Reid Backlist and the latest one I have read is 'One True Loves' a book that has consumed my life for the past few days! Emma Blair grew up not really being noticed, working odd shifts at her parents bookstore. She didn't particularly care for her hometown and decided upon meeting Jesse they would leave, she fell in love instantly and lived a great life together, seeing the world until one day Jesse goes on a trip and doesn't come back....Emma's life completely falls apart....her one true love gone. I read this one as part of a buddy read with @sunshineandbooklove.

Never Go back - Jessie Keane

Today is my day on the blog tour for the latest novel by Jessie Keane and huess what Annie Carter is back!! What an exceptional read, I just love the carter's and have done right from the beginning and Never Go Back is just like catching up with old family and talking like you only saw them yesterday!! Someone is out to get the Carter's and all their loved ones, but who is it? And why? Without a doubt a fast paced read, I was hooked from start to finish. Thank you to @ed.pr for letting me take part in this blog tour!

In The Dark - Claire Allan

I was absolutely hooked on this book, a superb thriller. It was also the first book I have read by Claire Allan and it certainly won't be the last. The worst possible thing that could ever happen to you when you have children happened to Nora, one day her daughter went missing and Nora has no recollection of what happened. This was without a doubt an intense read, I couldn't put it down, completely and utterly engrossed from start to finish. I read this as part of a buddy read with @fiction_book_reviews...we had priginal split chapters but were both engrossed so had to read on quicker!!
