Last Night -Mhairi Mcfarlane

You know you're in for a good book when the first couple of chapters have you literally spitting out your cuppa and roaring with laughter!

Although it had me in fits of giggles, this novel is also one of the most heart breaking I've read in a while!
Best friends Eve, Susie, Justin and Ed have been close since they were 18, now in their 30s things haven't changed, Eve is still secretly holding a flame for Ed ever since before he went to university, so when they're all out enjoying a pub quiz and Ed announces his engagement just how will Eve take this news?
The night takes an unexpected turn when an incident happens and changes their lives dramatically, secrets will be unfolded...just how well do you know your best friends?...Is is easy to forgive and forget?....Can love be found in the most difficult circumstances?

I absolutely adored this book, one minute I was laughing so hard then the next moment I was sobbing my heart out. A beautiful, heartwarming story of love, loss, secrets, friendship and missed opportunities.

A must read! I can't wait to see what is coming next by Mhairi.
