Galatea - Madeline Miller

What an absolutely gorgeous little hardback.

This short story is just under 50 pages and it just pulled me in from start to finish, I could have quiet easily read a full length book.

Madelines writing is something I will just never tire of reading.

Galatea tells the story of pygmalion but from his statue-wife's point of view. Full of obessession and jealousy as his beloved is completely different when she comes back to life.

This is the perfect read if you are new to Greek myths and would like something to break you into it.
