So today is my stop on the blog tour for This Christmas by Emma Heatherington. My first Christmas book I've read this year and I absolutely loved it. Rose and Charlie, two complete strangers, both want to escape Christmas, Rose isn't ready to deal with Christmas after a tragedy and everything changed and Charlie is facing his first Christmas alone, so just wants to escape all of the Christmas fuss. Unbeknownst to each other they both book a christmas break at Seaview cottage, somewhere personal for Rose and somewhere recommend by a close friend for Charlie. However it appears Seaview cottage has been double booked at they both have to share the cottage over the festivities.  I picked this one up because of the hype around it and what can I say..it most definitely lived it too it. I was HOOKED!! Now this book was a rollercoaster from start to finish, when I thought I had worked it out.. I really hadn't, the twists were just fantastic. Probably a top read for me this year. I cannot wait to get started on book 2. I read this as part of a buddy read with @chezzasnovelidea. And we thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish.

Oh my goodness, she has done it again!! I bloody LOVED this, I actually enjoyed this one more than The Family Upstairs. I thought that this book was very cleverly written, I loved the chapters alternating between the different characters to get the full story from all the different points of view. I absolutely loved a couple of the twists throughout, some bits I really didn't see coming. I loved how thought out Henry's character was and watching him develop over the two books!! I read this as a buddy read with the fabulous @readingrelaxation I cannot wait to pick up my next Lisa Jewell read. 

What an absolute TWIST, I definitely did not see that coming! So this is my first Alice Feeney book, and without a doubt this certainly won't be the last! From start to finish I was completely engaged, I loved how the story flitted between past and present and the whole story just came together.....I loved that every person's story was told throughout!! Just Wow, that twist at the end I didn't see it!! I really don't want to say too much about the book as I really want people to read it, definitely a classic whodunit! I read this one as a buddy read with @morgzreads_2003 I'm really enjoying our buddy reads at the moment so keep your eyes peeled for more of our buddy reads!

What a remarkable kick off to the Chesnut Spring series. I was completely hooked! Rhett and Summers story was just unputdownable. Summer has always been a people pleaser and followed the rules, she went to law school because she thought it would please her dad, she becomes and agent for athletes for him, until she is given the assignment of kicking Rhett Eaton into touch, his image is in tatters and Summer is going to pull it back together....what she wasn't expecting was a full on babysitting job!  This book was all kinds of steamy! Completely hooked a great start to what feels like a good series, so grab your hat and cowboy boots you're in for a ride....already picked up book number 2. I read this as a buddy read with @buddyreadbooknook 

Oh my goodness, what a read. This is everything I expect from Colleen Hoover, I haven't been disappointed by any of her books yet. Once again pulled in from the very start! With writing so addictive, and as addictive as Colleen's writing I simply couldn't put the book down, what started as a buddy read with @morgzreads_2003 ended up being read in a day. Beyah and Samsons story I felt was very real, at times I actually forgot this was just a book, it makes you feel like you were actually apart of this story!! Colleen Hoover is another author who I know whatever I pick up that they've written I know I am going to be fully invested from start to finish.

I absolutely love a buddy read, so I jumped at the chance when Leanne (@readingrelaxation) wanted to read The Family Upstairs. What a gripping read that pulls you in from the very start, going back and forth between the past and present builds the story really well. At first I found it confusing with who was who as there are alot.of characters involved in the story, but as it goes along you pick up who is who and each person is vital in the story, there is good vs evil in this dark and twisy read and I cannot wait to see what happens in book 2 - The Family Remains. Lisa Jewell is definitely a go to author for me, I know that anything I pick up by herbi will be completely enthralled by and know I'm in for a good read.

Groomed by a Gang by Christina O'connor is probably the most sad and harrowing read, yet moving and so brave book I have ever read. I can't even begin to imaging how hard it was to wrote this book, to have relive the worst moments in her life, I'm so incredibly proud of Christina to have written this book, to give others that was in or are in her situation to maybe have the courage to come forward from these vile monsters. As bad as it sounds I was so relieved when she recieved her jail conviction as it meant that she would be safer than having to carry on with the sentence she was already serving outside of jail.  I find it really hard to review non-fiction books as they are so personal to the author, these are their words.  But this one had me gripped, I cried, I felt angry, by the ending i was relieved, personally I think they should have got long, other men shouldn't have seen the light of day again. WHAT A READ. This is without a doubt a 5* read, why on earth has it been in my TBR pile all this time?! I couldn't put it down. This book was eerie, gripping, brutal, harrowing but completely and utterly enthralling, I can't remember reading a book that I became so invested in. Told from the perspectives of three people Jasmin, Hannah and Matthias. A story revolving around the abduction of Lena, Matthias daughter 13 years ago. A psychological thrillers that will make you think you have worked it all out until THAT twist!!! I whole heartedly recommend this book, I have no gone and invested in another 2 books by Romg Hausmann, I can't wait to dice in and read them!

My heart is totally and utterly broken! This book is a must read! I think this is definitely in Mt top 5 books of all time! I have never before cried so much reading a book, my heart literally broken throughout reading this book. The most beautiful love story, a story I'll never forget, an absolute tear jerker! Poppy and Rune have been in love since they were 5 years old, as they say when you know you know, after being torn apart and Rune having to move back to Norway they always vowed to make a go of things, they would talk everyday and wrote everyday until one day Poppy just stopped... As soon as I finish this book I immediately pre-ordered the next one due out. I read this book as part of a buddy read with @fiction_book_reviews 

Ahhh, what an incredible read! I just bloody loved Van and Nell, what a journey they went on!!  Five Years From now is definitely a book that will consume every waking second of you, when I put it down I was thinking about it, when I was reading it I just didn't want it to end. Van and Nell are destined to be together, they have known from an early age how much they meant to each other, but life just gets in the way!  A truly fabulous book, the characters are brilliantly well written, they very engaging and you connect well with them, the descriptions especially of Cornwall i could just picture!! Ahhh I just loved this book. Paige Toon is fast becoming a favourite author of mine, no matter what she writes I know I'll definitely pick up! Oh my goodness, I really didn't want this book to end, this is probably the most heartwarming book I have read this year! Juliette is not long separated from her husband, and in order to find herself again she revists a previous life of hers....she goes back to Paris to complete her story and tie up all loose ends from the night she had to flee. This book kept me hooked from the very beginning, it had everything you need for a great read, it was romantic, magical, the descriptions of Paris are just to die for. This was the first book I have read by Veronica Henry and you can be assured it definitely won't be the last.

Oh my goodness, I don't even know where to start with this book! It was most definitely a 5* read for me.  Colleen is fast becoming an author that no matter what she publishes I will most definitely buy! This book, I read as part of a buddy read, however when I looked my copy out to tab up and get ready before I knew it I had the pages read before the buddy read started 🙈 Sloan did not imagine this life for herself, living with her drug dealer boyfriend and up all night partying... all she ever wanted to do was protect her brother, keep him safe and have someone who really loves her, loves her and treats her the way she should be... but at what cost does love come at? A thrilling read, full of deceit, romance, hardship and hope. I cannot wait to see what is next from Colleen, I know for sure I will be straight in the line for it!

So today is my stop on the blog tour for 'The Detective'and what a cracking read it was. Although this is Book 3 in the series it read extremely well as a standalone. When a book like this pull you in from the very beginning you know your in for a good read, this has made me want to go and read the others in the series. A very interesting read that really makes you think. Everything you need for a bloody good read. ENGROSSING. HUMOUROUS. GREAT CHARACTERS. GREAT PLOT. GRIPPING. Thank you very much @harvillsecker for gifting me the book.

So today is my day on the blog tour for Mother Hens by Sophie McCartney. A completely unputdownable read. This read was absolutely hilarious, at one point I had tears streaming down my face!! Caras best friends is about to gey married and that only means one thing....a hen party!! So after Caras messy divorce this is definitely what she needs, a girls trip, no kids allowed holiday to the party island of Ibiza!! This book was absolutely cracking, I was completely hooked from start to finish. I definitely will be on the look out for what is next by Sophie!

I absolutely adore this series, Poe and Tilly are fast becoming my favourite fiction duo!! This series just gets better and better book by book! Black Summer is book 2 in the series and someone is out to ruin Poes career and he has to turn to the only person he trusts....Tilly. A dark, twisted highly engrossing read, I cannot wait to read book 3 in the series! I read this as a buddy ready with @fiction_books_reviews we are loving this series! Definitely a 5* from me!

So Shagged, Married, Annoyed was my very first audio book. I absolutely love Chris and Rosies Podcast so thought this would be the best book to begin my audio Journey on. It also helped that they narrated it as I was based to their voices anyway! This made me laugh from start to finish, all the stories of the everyday ups and downs being in a relationship was just brilliant! This was exactly like the the podcast but just an extended version of it. I would definitely read/listen to more of what they decided to do next.

What a highly enjoyable read. I thoroughly enjoyed this book from the very start. The way Jojo Moyes deals with certain themes is just outstanding, in this instance the stuggles of mental health coming from a male perspective was written so carefully and well. This book shows you exactly what it would be like to walk in another person's shoe. Sam works every hour under the sun, trying not support her family while also trying to keep her family together when her husband fall s ill, she's also helping to pay her friends mortgage and now starting to struggle financially. Nisha seems to have it all, she has money, she has a lifestyle and wardrobe that I there would love to have, money being no object....until one day at the gym a bag mix up between the pair will teach them how the other half live! I thoroughly enjoyed every money if this book. I read it as a buddy read with @ fiction_book_reviews

So today is my stop on the blog tour for 'One Enchanted Evening' by Katie Fforde, can you believe this is her 30th novel! Yes 30th novel 😮 and third in the trilogy of standalone stories set during the 1960s. This time the story focuses on Meg....the series each features one of three women who meet on a cookery course, Meg, Alexandra and Lizze. Although One Enchanted Evening is part of a series it is completely readable as a standalone. Megs dream of working as a professional chef in a kitchen, but as its still the sixties cooks/chefs is still very much a man's job, so when she manages to secure the chance fo work and learn from a French chef in Provence she jumps at the chance. However until she has to leave her mother Louise really needs a help in the hotel she is currently running - Nightingale Woods. But heads start to clash when the owners son Justin starts to take an interest in the hotel firmly believing a woman's place is definitely not in the kitchen.....Will t...

Now this is what you call a thriller, i was hooked from start to finish, it started dark, it got darker, the twists were coming....I just didn't want it to end. Washington Poe and Tilly Bradshaw, just what a fantastic duo they were and hopefully will be?!  The immolation man is hunting and terrorising the Lake District so when poe has an unexpected visitor whilst on suspension, he knew it was an offer he couldn't refuse...but what does the Immolation man want with Poe?  What a cracking boom from start to finish I cannot wait to start book 2.
